Noble Metal Thermocouples
At International Super Sensors, we offer a quality selection of noble metal thermocouples that can endure the harshest industrial conditions. Our noble metal thermocouples are specially designed to withstand neutral, oxidizing, and reducing environments. Constructed from the highest quality materials, these thermocouples can be customized to fulfill virtually any of our customers’ application requirements.
Noble metal thermocouples excel in high temperature environments, and our models are no exception. We provide noble metal products that operate in extreme temperatures, typically ranging from -320°F to 3200°F. These noble metal thermocouples are available in Type B, R, and S, constructed from the highest quality blends of platinum and rhodium. Protection tubes are made from superior materials as well, including Hastelloy, Inconel 600, molybdenum, silicon carbide, and alumina and mullite ceramic. They have various junction types, including exposed and common/isolated ungrounded models. A number of different lead styles are available as well. We fulfill any customer request with standard jacks and plugs, spade leads, high and ultra-high temperature plugs, and stripped length leads. Our ultra-high thermocouples are available in type C & G, and while not being actual noble metals, they also can be employed in the highest temperature settings. Our sheath materials cover a broad spectrum of options as well. We provide sheaths in all varieties of stainless steels and alloys, as well as flexible armor, tantalum, and a host of others. Multiple types of end fittings are available as well, including stainless steel, brass and compression fittings ranging from 1/8” to 1” NPT.
We fabricate our noble metal thermocouples to the highest industrial standards, ensuring that these products provide the best longevity and at maximum levels of performance. Our noble metal thermocouples feature complete abrasion, corrosion, acid, and vibration resistance. They work at the highest levels of accuracy, with most of our thermal cupules calibrated with AMS 2750 Revision E. Our facility is fully ISO 10012-2003 and ISO 9001:2008 certified, as well as fulfilling all appropriate ANSI, AMS, ASTM, BAC, and DPS standards. We offer some of the most competitive lead times in the industry, fully completing customized jobs in as few as 7 to 10 business days, with rush and emergency services available.
From prototypes to full production jobs, our noble metal thermocouples maintain the highest levels of efficiency and quality. To learn more about our standard and custom thermocouples, please contact us directly.
